Steyr AUG – information excerpted form wikipedia.org

The AUG is an Austrian bullpup 5.56mm assault rifle, designed in the early 1970s by Steyr Mannlicher GmbH & Co KG (formerly Steyr-Daimler-Puch). The AUG (Armee Universal Gewehr—"universal army rifle") was adopted by the Austrian Army as the StG 77 (Sturmgewehr 77) in 1977, where it replaced the 7.62mm StG 58 automatic rifle (a license-built FN FAL). In production since 1978, it is the standard small arm of the Austrian Bundesheer and various national police units.

The rifle has also been adopted by the armed forces of Argentina, Australia (accepted into service in 1988 and manufactured by Australian Defence Industries in Lithgow, the F88 Austeyr model is also in use by New Zealand), Bolivia, Ecuador (since 1988), Ireland, Luxembourg, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia (introduced in 1978), Pakistan, and (since 1988) U.S. Customs Service (now the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agency).

JG0447A replica

The JG0447A airsoft gun is made of metal and durable ABS. The whole body and the pistol grip, just like in the case of the real steel, are made of plastic. The contoured, for a more comfortable grip magazine, is also made of plastic. The butt stock is rubberised, which gives it anti-skidding properties. The set of RIS rails, the barrel and small parts are made of metal.

The top RIS rail enables for the effortless attachment of almost any given optical sight, which enables to adapt this airsoft gun for the requirements of a sniper rifle operator. The side rails and the bottom rail allow attaching any optoelectronic devices, laser pointers, flashlights or tactical grips.

Unlike most of the rifles with the bullpup system, this is also quite friendly for the left-handed users. Placing the magazine behind the trigger mechanism allowed using a longer barrel (which in return improved the accuracy). At the same time, the airsoft gun has retained its great maneuverability, which is further facilitated by the usage of a shorter barrel when comparing with the standard version of this airsoft gun.

Technical details:
Product Name:
Velocity [FPS]

It is the spped of bb, while its leaving the innerbarrel of replica. This speed is measured in FPS (Feet Per Second).

1 FPS = 0,3 m/s

1 J = 99 m/s

1 J = 326,7 FPS

Replicas have spring, electric or gas propultion. Spring models need to reload after each shot (pull back the lock) to enter the ball into the chamber. At the same time it pulls spring back, to be able to give a shot. Electric replicas depends on the battery, whereby the engine drives the whole gearbox, and a gas models, push the BB by gas, which loads in magazine (in these replicas ther is not spring).

Electric propulsion
Gearbox version

Indications v2, v3, v6 does not mean the level of advance, but only shape of gearbox skeleton which was used and selected by the manufacturer depending on the capabilities of the body of the replica. For example, a models of the M4/M16 family, MP5, have a v2 gearbox, while the AK family have gearbox v3.

Gearbox v3
Type of fire:
Single, auto
Made of:
ABS + metal
Weight [g]

This is a value that includes the weight of the replica, magazine and other accessories that are include in set without a battery, charger, cleaning rod, etc., etc.

Battery [V]

Battery voltage is responsible for the frequency of shots. It must be remembered that, the stronger spring is in its replica, the higher voltage must have the battery, because the motor that drives the whole mechanism needs more energy to stretch the spring.

Battery Capacity [mAh]

Battery capacity determines the time, which it accumulated enough energy to work gearbox. The greater capacity, then replica will shoot longer.

Magazine type:
Hi-Cap magazine
Magazine capacity [pcs]:

Hop-Uup system is used for overclocking bb during the shot (putting it in rotation), through which, it extends its flight path. Acting laws of physics make that bb lift up, while the gravitational force take it down. Appropriate adjustment of Hop-Up, will compensate for these two factors, which result in long and straight flight for longer distance and be greater focus shot (to improve accuracy).

Yes, regulated
Blow Back

Blow back is a simulation system of the cocking lever - it imitates the work of it as the equivalent sharp. This system raises the realism and adds a lot more experience during shooting.
